The Department will respond to all FOIA requests. Requests should include a clear and concise statement of the documents needed, as well as your contact information, including an email address if possible. This helps us respond faster and within the timeframe the law requires.

All FOIA requests should be submitted to Commerce.FOIA@illinois.gov, regardless of whether programs you’re inquiring about are managed from our Chicago, Springfield, or other offices.
