Illinois Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program

River Edge Historic Tax Credit Program provides state income-tax credit equal to 25% of a project’s qualified expenditures to owners of certified historic structures located within River Edge Redevelopment Zones.
Tax Increment Financing Districts (TIFs)

These districts dedicate sales tax revenues and additional property tax revenues generated within the TIF for improvements within the district to encourage new economic development and job creation.
