Private Capital

SSBCI funds are designed to help catalyze private capital investments. INVENT will not be the sole investor in a fundraise round. A company must raise the private capital to match the INVENT investment.

Qualified private capital includes an investment entity (venture capital fund, angel fund, family office, investment partnership, or LLC), corporation venture arm, a CDFI fund, or an Accredited Investor. Funds raised from crowdfunding platforms, 401Ks, IRAs, infinite banking, other personal vehicles, in-kind services, an SBA-licensed Small Business Investment Company, or other government funds are not acceptable private capital leverage.

Meeting general eligibility requirements and obtaining private capital interest does not guarantee an investment.
