WIOA and Trade Policies

The Illinois Workforce Innovation Board (IWIB) is responsible for providing leadership to ensure the programs offered through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) make investments that are evidence-based, data-driven, and meet the businesses need for a skilled workforce. This includes the development of policy, identification of best practices, and setting parameters for continuous improvement of the system.

In addition, the Department of Commerce Office of Employment and Training provides policy and guidance to the Local Workforce Innovation Boards (LWIB) for the delivery of workforce development adult, dislocated worker, and youth services as well as those offered under the Trade Adjustment Assistance Act (TAA).

You can search, download, and subscribe to receive e-mail notifications on any policy issuances and updates.
