Applications accepted on a rolling, first come, first served basis through June 30, 2024 or until all of the funds that are earmarked for this NOFO are awarded.  Please note that applications that were received by the February 23, 2024 5:00 pm 2nd round deadline will be reviewed and awarded before applications that were submitted after this time.  As of February 23, the Department has not received any applications for the Danville hub region. 
Illinois Energy Transition Navigator Program Community-based providers, including not-for-profit organizations Application link
The Department is accepting applications from the following hub regions: Champaign, Danville and East St. Louis. Applications for these regions will be accepted on a rolling, first come, first served basis through June 30, 2024 or until all of the funds that are earmarked for this NOFO are awarded.

Returning Resident Clean Jobs Training Program Community-based organizations, including community colleges, nonprofits, and local governments Application link
Applications submitted by April 15, 2024 will be considered for the first round of reviews.
Community Solar Energy Sovereignty Grant Program Community-based organizations, qualifying public entities, and technical service providers working in direct partnership with community-based organizations.  Application link

Upcoming Public Engagement Opportunities

Register for a virtual networking event to build partnerships to apply for funding for the Returning Residents Clean Jobs Training Program. Attend a statewide networking event on March 13 or targeted networking events March 14-21, focused on the Illinois Department of Corrections facilities where the training will be offered. At these events, DCEO will answer questions about the program and facilitate networking among interested applicants to help build grant teams.
