The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is excited to welcome and work with potential grantees in the State of Illinois. We wish to equip individuals and organizations with the tools they need to execute successful programs that strengthen our communities, boost our economy, and empower the citizens of our state. We’re excited to share new training opportunities and resources to assist grantees in establishing grant programs.
Each week, the Technical Support Team of the Office of Accountability will offer live Office Hour sessions via Webex in which potential and current Grantees may attend to ask questions and seek assistance. Technical Support Managers will be online to field questions, demonstrate steps, or provide instructions as needed to assist entities and individuals with the grant process.
We’re also happy to share our monthly training on Pre-Qualification. Each month the DCEO Technical Support Team will discuss the steps needed to obtain and maintain Pre-Qualification throughout your grant program. Join us for an introductory look at this vital requirement, and what you can do to begin your journey with DCEO.
DCEO will also offer monthly trainings on various topics pertaining to grant management. Each month we will discuss a different component, process, or emerging practice that can benefit potential and existing grantees.
