Goals of the IDEC
The goal of the Illinois Digital Equity Capacity Grant (IDEC) grant program is to ensure that all people and communities across Illinois have the skills, technology, and capacity needed to reap the full benefits of our digital economy. Illinois is set to receive more than $30 million to achieve its digital equity goals over the next five years.
The IDEC grant program is specifically aligned with activities and goals identified in the State Digital Equity Plan in order to increase digital equity and support digital inclusion activities to benefit all Illinoisans.

The IDEC grant program will allow eligible organizations to apply for funding to support digital equity initiatives for vulnerable community members.
