Permitting Resources
Note: The Illinois Office of Broadband will update this page as further resources are developed. Please continue to check back for updates.
This webpage provides resources for broadband providers in Illinois and those working to deploy broadband infrastructure. Please note that this hub is not an exhaustive source and should not be relied upon as the sole reference for permitting. Each broadband provider and contractor is ultimately responsible for:
Identifying and verifying all applicable permits and permitting requirements
Ensuring all required permits are submitted and approved
Following the appropriate procedures and timelines set by each permitting entity
We recommend using the resources here in conjunction with direct outreach to local, state, and federal permitting authorities to ensure full compliance.
