Illinois Works Career Services

Contractors interested in providing employment opportunities to apprentices that have completed the Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program (be it to comply with the Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative, to earn bid credits through the Bid Credit Program, or simply because they need qualified talent), can simply contact Illinois Works Career Services, and submit a Job Order Request. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAP) or any other construction or trades interested parties looking to obtain customized lists of Illinois Works graduates can also request them from the Career Services Team.

All Illinois Works graduates have been thoroughly vetted and are interested in making a career in construction, and they have earned nationally recognized construction certifications including NCCER, MC3 or ICCB, OSHA-10, and First Aid/CPR. Our graduates are ready, able, and willing to work now!
