Workforce Training Program
Looking to hire production assistants? The Illinois Film Office Workforce Training Program, tied to the Film Tax Credit, has highly competent, diverse, and vetted production assistants ready to work on your next production.
The IFO has an exciting initiative that offers real-world experience and hands-on exercises to prepare participants for Production Assistant and related jobs in high demand in local Illinois Television and Film productions.
Every IFO trainee has undergone a rigorous selection process with Illinois film organizations. Everyone receives between 80-100 hours of training in relevant set etiquette, standard practice, and mock set experiences for both set and office settings by working industry professionals.
